A BILL to amend and reenact section four, article one, chapter
twenty-two of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine
hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to continuing the
division of environmental protection.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section four, article one, chapter twenty-two of the
code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 1. DIVISION OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION.
§22-1-4. Division of environmental protection continued.
Pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of
this code, the division of environmental protection shall
continue to exist until the first day of July, one thousand nine
hundred ninety-nine two thousand.

(NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the Division
of Environmental Protection until July 1, 2000, pursuant to the
provisions of the West Virginia Sunset Law.
